Hi! and welcome to my blog 😀
I absolutely love animals and hate to see them hurt, hence the name “Animals’ Best Friend”.
I studied natural healing quite a few years ago, but I wasn’t passionate about it. It wasn’t until I became passionate about saving animals that I realized that it all tied in with what I had studied about natural health. I had seen a vegan diet do wonders in people’s health, and this was also what would protect my animal friends, as well as this earth that we all live on.
From there, I really became passionate about sharing with others not just the wonders of a vegan / humane* (see note below) vegetarian diet, but also all the other things I’ve been learning about natural health. So that is what this blog is for, to share information that I have found useful to help others who are also seeking a natural, cruelty-free, environmentally friendly, way of life.
*I say “humane vegetarian” diet because, unfortunately, the dairy and egg industries are also often very full of animal cruelty. Even animals that are “free range” and/or “organic” are often very mistreated.
However, I do think that there are humane ways of getting dairy and eggs, if the source is known to be one where the animals are treated kindly and given plenty of space to roam.
